On each cruise that we've done, we've been incredibly fortunate to have stellar waitstaff. They have gotten to know us and our preferences right away, and helped ensure that every dinner was a memorable experience. On our first Royal Caribbean cruise on the
Adventure of the Seas, our waiter was Roland, seen here with Erin. Roland was simply outstanding! On the first night of the cruise, Erin ordered a chocolate milk, and on each night after that, there was a glass of chocolate milk waiting for her at the table when we sat down. He brought her special desserts, and made a cookie care package for her on the nights that she wasn't with us at dinner. He also got to know us, and would make suggestions as to which entrees or desserts he thought we should order. Service like that is one of the things that I love about cruising, and it makes each meal all that more memorable!
