December 5, 2002 - That's Deep

In honor of all my East coast friends and family who are getting hammered today by yet another massive snowstorm, I thought I'd use a snow picture today.  Like most children, Erin LOVES snow - playing in it, watching it come down, yada-yada-yada. And like children all over the world no doubt since the beginning of time, she's never understand why we don't. But like good parents everywhere, we'd always bundle her up and take her out so she could get her fill of the white stuff. (Never mind that it usually took us longer to bundle her up than she spent outside!) In this particular storm in 2002, the snow was almost up to her knees when we took her out (and still coming down!), but she didn't care. She had a great time. If only she was old enough at that point to shovel!
